E-mail Addresses and Policies

Each UT campus has a different e-mail policy. As an online Finish@UT student, it is important that you are aware of the e-mail policies at your Home and Host Campus(es). When a registration request is approved in the Texas Information System (TIS), the student may be assigned an e-mail address by the Host Campus to which multiple, important pieces of correspondence may be sent. Your awareness of this e-mail address will ensure that you receive important messages from the Office of the Registrar, Tuition and Fee Billing, and Financial Aid/Veterans Affairs Offices.

It is important that you activate each campus e-mail address that is assigned to you, and setup mail forwarding to your preferred e-mail address.

We recommend that students use their Home Campus e-mail address on their TIS profile and forward all Host Campus e-mail accounts to the Home Campus address.
